Bermuda - Travel Edition

Bermuda is so beautiful and the entire island is only 25 miles....Yes I said 25 miles! This helps make the island feel like home as you will most likely run into people/tourists that you have met before. Going through customs was a breeze and the airport was not crowded at all! The people are very nice, and most of the taxi drivers are just like tour guides!

I stayed at the luxury Fairmount Hotel and it was an absolute dream!(https://www.fairmont.com/southampton-bermuda/) I caution you before you book to be aware that this hotel is not all-inclusive, everything is separated. The free continental breakfast is only for two people, even if you your room occupy's more than 2. After that, it costs 24-30 for a continental breakfast (no hot food). The service and the staff are attentive and sends gifts to your room every now and then which was a nice accent to our stay.

If you would like to keep the costs low on your trip, use Bermuda's public transportation! The public busses are very popular with the tourists and locals. I would defiantly recommend using the busses when the taxi fares begin to add up! The picture at the top right is actually a breath taking view from the bus stop at the bottom of my hotel. Hop right onto a bus to Hamilton (downtown) for nightlife! Although a bit costly, a guided tour to crystal caves is an ESSENTIAL. It is breathe-taking and a very unique experience with lovely energetic tour guides who seem to really love what they are doing. If you go be sure to wear sneakers and be ready to take several stairs to get down into the cave and back up!

Overall, Bermuda is a great place to visit with the most amazing beaches I have ever been to. There are so many activities you can participate in, I highly recommend paying the beautiful island a visit. Here are some of my favorite photos from my stay.
